As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. This role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. - Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
- Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures and site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any security-related concerns.
- Document and report security-related incidents, unusual observations, and maintenance issues as required by site procedures.
- Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding individuals to designated areas and communicating with emergency personnel as needed.
- Collaborate with site management and other Allied Universal personnel to maintain a secure environment in the manufacturing and industrial setting.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
