As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. - Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and following site-specific security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities.
- Document and report all activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
- Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
