Physician Assistant / Surgery - Cardiothoracic / North Carolina / Locums to Perm

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for our client in North Carolina! Responsibilities: Provide inpatient vascular surgery coverage, including consults, daily rounding, and patient management Assist with cath lab and operating room procedures in collaboration with surgeons Conduct outpatient clinic visits (if experienced in vascular surgery) for routine care and postoperative follow-ups Manage a patient schedule of 6?12 visits per day, with 30-minute appointment slots Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible physician or advanced practice provider Experience in vascular surgery preferred Active and unrestricted medical license Schedule: Weekday shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Shifts range from 4 to 10 hours Outpatient clinic hours from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (if applicable) Flexible weekly recurring schedule with variable coverage days Skills: Strong clinical knowledge in vascular surgery and related procedures Ability to manage inpatient and outpatient care effectively Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams Proficiency in patient management and postoperative follow-up care All travel expenses are reimbursed by our client and Orchard covers malpractice insurance with tail coverage!
