Territory Business Manager – Inizio Engage
Inizio Engage has a long-standing partnership with a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to bringing innovative products and effective results to physicians and patients. We are seeking a performance-driven, proven, and ambitious Territory Business Manager (Discovery Lead) who is willing to put forth discretionary effort to go the extra mile. This role is responsible for educating physicians to drive disease state awareness, uncover new patients, identify patients to initiate therapy, collaborate with field colleagues, and provide brand messaging to customers. Serve as a territory business owner, educate high-opportunity prospect HCPs on disease state, risk assessment, and medication to support patient identification; coordinate with sales team to share information and develop strategies. Demonstrate passion and compassion for the treatment of patients with the disease state, helping them overcome challenges faced with existing therapies. Demonstrate deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise based on rigorous scientific principles and data including mechanism of action, indications, efficacy and safety. Understand and apply knowledge of the health care industry, trends, applicable laws and regulations, market conditions and the market access environment, and analyze these factors in the development of business plans and daily execution of interactions with HCPs within compliance guidelines. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, office staff and others in the patient care continuum; foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals. Ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from stakeholders, use insights to position current promoted brands and collaborate with customers on a customized strategy. What do you need for this position?
Bachelor’s Degree 2+ years of successful pharmaceutical or medical sales required 1+ year of experience in Neurology or rare disease highly preferred Commercially driven sales individual with proven sales success Strong clinical and medical acumen and critical thinking necessary for disease state education and intelligence gathering Develop strategic and tactical territory plans Passion for improving the lives of patients Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Interest in demand generation and patient identification Excellent communicator and team contributor Ability to handle large geographies, multiple stakeholders and adjust flexibly to address target customer concerns and objections Proficient using technology to connect with customers face to face and virtually Some overnight travel required Valid driver’s license in good standing About Inizio Engage
