WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH In this role, you will report to the VP of client's Brand Strategy and will work with business leaders and strategy teammates in the Basketball business across the functions of General Management, Footwear, Apparel Product Creation, Design, Merchandising, Marketing, Marketplace, Planning, Finance, and Business Integration.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a Strategy manager who will work with executive leadership and strategists to drive an integrated strategic offense by prioritizing, defining and recommending a portfolio of growth strategies, grounded in market & consumer insights, that translate to new sources of advantage and growth horizons for client.
Job Requirements
MBA or similar graduate degree and minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience. Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or equivalent.
Strategy background inclusive of management consulting, investment banking, apparel/footwear, retail, merchandising, digital/ecommerce, and/or experience in consumer‑facing industries with proven understanding of the competitive landscape.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON You will take a project‑based approach to driving impact, completing rigorous strategic analysis and synthesizing insights into compelling presentations for the Basketball business. Specific responsibilities include:
Build and catalyze integrated strategic plans across Product, Design, Merchandising, Marketing and Marketplace by driving integrated actions to win with athletes and drive growth and competitive separation.
Assess impact of our strategy by diagnosing results aligned to our plan, develop KPIs to measure success and prioritizing future actions.
Build trust rapidly with multi‑functional stakeholders gaining traction through quick wins while simultaneously laying the groundwork for longer‑lead, high‑impact projects.
