Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Clinical Psychologist located in Riverhead, NY. The Clinical Psychologist will provide psychological evaluations, testing, facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and offer clinical supervision to staff or trainees. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate and confidential documentation and participating in the development of individualized treatment plans that promote holistic health and well‑being for patients.
Qualifications
Expertise in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, and supporting the emotional and mental health of diverse populations
Experience with Psychological Testing and assessments to diagnose and evaluate mental health conditions
Proficiency in Mental Health support and therapy for individuals and groups
Knowledge of Clinical Supervision practices, including mentoring and guiding clinical staff or interns
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and team members
Valid New York State licensure as a Clinical Psychologist
Doctoral degree (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology or a related field
Experience working in healthcare settings and with diverse populations is a plus
