About Us GYMGUYZ Silicon Valley is launching a Medical Fitness & Longevity Division
that integrates:
Medical oversight (Nurse Practitioner) Clinical Nutrition / MNT In‑home personal training and metabolic conditioning Behavioral health and habit change We specialize in women’s hormonal health (PCOS, perimenopause, menopause) ,
metabolic disease (prediabetes, diabetes) , and long‑term weight and body composition change. We are looking for a
California‑based Registered Dietitian
who wants to be part of a cutting‑edge, concierge‑style medical fitness team—not just another clinic job.
Role Overview The Registered Dietitian will:
Lead our clinical nutrition strategy
Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for eligible clients
Collaborate with our NP, behavioral specialist, and in‑home training team
Help design and deliver high‑touch, 6–12 month transformation programs for high‑performing professionals and clients with metabolic or hormonal issues.
This Role Is a Mix Of
1:1 telehealth sessions
MNT documentation and billing support
Program design and case collaboration
Occasional live workshops / client education
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care & MNT
Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for clients with conditions such as:
Prediabetes / diabetes
Obesity / metabolic syndrome
PCOS and other hormonal conditions
Cardiovascular risk factors (cholesterol, hypertension, etc.)
Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, including:
Medical history
Lab values (in collaboration with NP)
Anthropometrics and body composition
Lifestyle and psychosocial factors
Develop individualized, lab‑informed nutrition care plans aligned with each client’s medical and fitness program.
Deliver ongoing follow‑up sessions to evaluate outcomes, adjust plans, and support long‑term adherence.
Program & Team Integration
Collaborate closely with:
Nurse Practitioner (for labs, meds, clinical oversight)
Behavioral Specialist (for emotional/behavioral barriers to change)
Head Coach & Training Team (for integrating nutrition with training cycles)
Participate in periodic case review meetings to coordinate care plans and program progression.
Help design our 6‑month and 12‑month Medical Fitness programs, including:
Nutrition protocols for GLP‑1 clients
PCOS/menopause‑specific tracks
Longevity / performance nutrition tracks
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with MNT standards and payer requirements.
Support MNT billing workflows (coding, documentation standards, session duration/type).
Ensure all practice is compliant with California regulations for RDs and federal MNT guidelines.
Education & Content
Create educational materials (handouts, simple guides, small group education topics) for:
GLP‑1 + nutrition integration
PCOS/menopause nutrition
Strength training and protein/energy needs
Occasionally contribute to workshops, webinars, or content for our high‑value clients and corporate partners.
Qualifications Required
Current Registered Dietitian / RDN credential
Active California RD license or certification recognized by state requirements
In good standing with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in:
Clinical nutrition
Outpatient counseling, or
Metabolic / weight management / endocrine settings
Comfort working with:
Prediabetes / diabetes
Obesity and metabolic syndrome
Women’s hormonal issues (PCOS, perimenopause, menopause) – or strong willingness to specialize here
Strong communication skills and comfort using telehealth platforms
Preferred
Experience with MNT billing and documentation
Prior work with GLP‑1 or weight‑loss medication patients (in collaboration with MD/NP)
Experience in sports nutrition, performance, or strength training populations
Interest in functional medicine / integrative nutrition (within evidence‑based practice)
Schedule & Compensation (Ballpark – Silicon Valley)
Flexible schedule (some evenings/weekends may be needed to match client needs).
Role can start part‑time with option to grow to full‑time as the division scales.
Estimated salary range (FTE): ~$85,000 – $110,000/year depending on experience and scope.
Estimated hourly range (part‑time/contractor): ~$45 – $65/hour DOE.
Potential for performance‑based bonuses tied to successful program outcomes and division growth.
