Post‑Acute Medical Director
Join TeamHealth’s growing post‑acute care team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role oversees quality compassionate care as medical director, rounding on adults at skilled nursing facilities.
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated salary $297,809 – $337,091 annually — fee for service with no cap on productivity income.
Full‑time, benefits eligible with access to our Medical Directorship Leadership Academy.
Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage.
90‑day onboarding program with experienced mentor from day 1.

Responsibilities
Oversee quality and compassionate care as medical director.
Round on adults at skilled nursing facilities, target 4 days per week.
Collaborate with facility leadership as a valued partner of the team.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and work with the MDLA.
Qualifications
Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Active Tennessee license and DEA registration.
Experience in post‑acute care preferred but not required.
