A great UHY client is seeking a
Quality Lead
to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of aerospace quality experience, experience with non-destructive testing, calipers, height gauges, and blueprints, and the ability to manage employees and inspect parts proficiently.
The
Quality Lead
role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position.
Quality Lead Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Lead the quality inspectors, instructing on processes, job inspections, and hot jobs.
Responsible for sign-offs on in-process, first piece, and final inspections.
Manage all quality documentation, including First Article Inspections.
Perform physical inspections using instruments like height gauges and calipers.
Quality Lead Key Qualifications and Skills
5 to 10 years of experience in a quality-focused role within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
No degree required for this position.
Experience with non-destructive testing, calipers, height gauges, and blueprints.
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality systems.
Ability to manage employees and be proficient in inspecting parts.
CMM experience and knowledge of digital optical comparators (e.g., Keyence models) are beneficial.
