KPMG is currently seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Divisional Head of Finance to join our Advisory operating division.
Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic partner to the Firm Head of FP&A and Advisory business leaders, contributing to executive management and leading a high-performing finance team
Collaborate with finance and business leadership to set and execute financial goals aligned with company strategy, driving profitable growth through effective planning and performance management
Oversee all finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, cash flow, billing and collections; ensure financial integrity and robust internal controls in partnership with the controllership function
Lead the preparation of management and operational reports, proactively identifying risks and opportunities; ensure compliance with all budgetary reporting requirements and drive operational efficiencies
Build strong relationships with senior executives, providing strategic financial guidance on business initiatives
Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, consolidation and reporting processes; deliver recommendations to enhance financial performance and identify business opportunities; foster cross‑functional collaboration
Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of recent, relevant experience as a CFO, divisional head of finance, or similar senior finance role
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; MBA, CPA, or advanced degree preferred
Deep expertise in corporate finance and risk management; professional services experience is a plus
Exceptional communication, leadership and organizational skills, with proven people management capabilities
Advanced proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, MS Office and financial management software

California Salary Range: $205,000 – $414,000.
