Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, manage, and maintain Cloudera Hadoop/CDP clusters across three environments.
Monitor cluster connectivity, health, and performance using tools such as Cloudera Manager, Grafana, and Splunk; proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and conduct capacity planning.
Implement and manage cluster security configurations, including Kerberos, Sentry/Ranger for authorization, HDFS ACLs, and integration with enterprise IAM/LDAP.
Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python, Bash, or Perl for routine administrative tasks and configuration management.
Provide expert‑level troubleshooting and technical support for Hadoop ecosystem components and big data applications; participate in an on‑call rotation.
Perform installations, patching, and upgrades of Hadoop software and Cloudera components with minimal downtime.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience as a Cloudera/Hadoop Administrator in production environments.
Cloudera Certified Administrator for Apache Hadoop certification desirable.
Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and command‑line tools.
Proficient with Cloudera Manager and other cluster management tools.
Solid understanding of security protocols such as Kerberos and SSL/TLS in big‑data environments.
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Estimated Min Rate : $50.00
Estimated Max Rate : $60.00
