Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fiber Technician based in San Jose, CA. The Fiber Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables and systems. This includes cabling, splicing, and testing of fiber optics to ensure optimal functionality. The technician will also work closely with team members and clients to address technical challenges and deliver reliable telecommunications services.
Qualifications
Experience with SM fiber cables and fiber management techniques
Strong skills in Troubleshooting and problem-solving
Knowledge of Optics and Fiber systems
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Ability to work independently in the field and within a team
Relevant certifications or training in fiber optics and telecommunications is an asset
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the region if necessary
