Solutions Architect – Global Payment Solutions Overview We deliver technology solution architecture for Global Payment Solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals. Our team manages architecture‑related risks and drives compliance with enterprise standards, principles, and technology blueprints.
We are seeking a Solutions Architect to support Corporate Channels, Payments, Accounting Services, Commercial Card, Liquidity Management, and related domains. This role offers exposure to a diverse, global portfolio of initiatives across US, EMEA, and APAC, providing a challenging and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain an architectural vision and solution architecture aligned with business strategy, enterprise architecture principles, and approved technology platforms.
Articulate solution intent and operating environments, identifying primary systems, subsystems, interfaces, and non‑functional requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with strategic objectives.
Assess and communicate the impact of key architectural and design decisions.
Rapidly develop high‑level architectural designs and evolve them as business requirements mature, ensuring modularity, flexibility, and scalability.
Apply architecture best practices, templates, and documentation standards to produce high‑quality solution designs.
Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to plan and prioritize architecture‑related backlog items and support the architecture runway.
Provide architectural guidance and clarity to development teams, offering solution options to address technical impediments.
Conduct architecture and design reviews to ensure compliance with non‑functional requirements, including security, performance, scalability, usability, and reliability.
Operate effectively as an individual contributor while influencing cross‑functional teams.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in Banking or Financial Services technology.

Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, collaborative environments with minimal supervision.
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partner coordination skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Demonstrated analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving ability.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into multiple architectural views for diverse audiences.
Broad IT knowledge across financial applications, middleware, integration platforms, and databases.
Experience driving shared services strategies and fostering a performance‑driven culture.
Commitment to continuous improvement of products, processes, and tools.
Technical Expertise
Strong experience with API design, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration platforms.
Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of modern application architecture and development languages/frameworks, including Java and Python.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
TOGAF 9 Certification.
Cloud Solutions Architect Certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
