Role Summary The Portfolio Management Lead is responsible for establishing and leading portfolio management capabilities within the EPMO for a multi-year, multi-million dollar technology program. This role defines and implements portfolio-level planning, prioritization, and performance tracking processes to ensure initiatives are strategically aligned and deliver value. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy and collaborate closely with stakeholders across delivery finance and strategy functions.

Compensation / Benefits Information Expected base salary range: $128,000 – $189,000. Final base salary will depend on geographic location, experience, skills, licenses, and certifications. The role is eligible for an annual incentive plan but not for additional bonuses or commissions. Additional benefits are available; detailed information can be found on our benefits page.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and oversee end-to-end management of the technology project portfolio, ensuring all initiatives align with organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
Define and lead the lifecycle entry and exit process for projects, enabling robust prioritization, integrated planning, and resource alignment across workstreams.
Chair portfolio review meetings and represent the PMO in executive and operating committee forums, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of portfolio management processes.
Partner with Finance, Strategy, and Delivery teams to support accurate forecasting, budget tracking, and benefits realization at the portfolio level.
Maintain portfolio-level dashboards and reporting packs to enable data‑driven decision‑making and transparency for senior stakeholders.
Monitor portfolio health and performance metrics, identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
Champion the adoption and integration of automated reporting and decision‑making solutions leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau) to enhance portfolio transparency, efficiency, and strategic insight.
Ensure consistent application of portfolio management tools, methodologies, and standards across all workstreams.
Lead coordination with change management and communications teams to ensure portfolio initiatives are effectively supported, communicated, and adopted across the organization.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of relevant experience in program/project management, portfolio management, or PMO functions.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills with experience influencing senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Experience working in technology environments, including ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, and hybrid delivery models.
Familiarity with Scaled Agile frameworks, Lean Portfolio Management, and integrated planning approaches.
Proven experience in portfolio-level planning, prioritization, and performance tracking.
Proficiency in portfolio management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience driving automated reporting and decision‑making using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Tableau, Power BI).
Ability to use machine‑learning techniques for initiative prioritization and portfolio health monitoring.
Proven capability to integrate AI tools for scenario simulation and resource allocation.
Experience establishing feedback loops for continuous improvement using AI‑driven insights.
