Controls Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to enhance production efficiency and safety. This role requires a strong background in automation and control engineering, with a focus on Allen Bradley and Rockwell systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes.
Implement automation solutions to improve production efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate control systems with other manufacturing operations.
Maintain documentation for control systems, including schematics and operational procedures.
Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel regarding control systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley and Rockwell PLCs.
Familiarity with automation technologies and practices.
Experience with servo systems, VFDs, and machine networking.
Understanding of CNC operations and systems, preferably with Haas or Toyoda equipment.
Knowledge of SCADA systems and their application in manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
