Job Overview We have a rewarding and exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Preclinical Services Business Unit, focusing on cell‑based screening and CRISPR‑mediated genome manipulation. This role drives business needs and sets the direction of future new service introductions.

Key Responsibilities
Align the needs of the customer with corporate objectives and deliver on sales revenue for the Preclinical Services Business Unit in your region.
Handle complex deals, negotiate firmly, and set expectations with clients at all levels to meet business needs.
Secure partnerships with Presidents, VPs, and Directors at new companies, building long‑term trust.
Execute account planning, prospecting, lead qualification, and new business development (HUNTER skill set).
Provide technical support to customers through training, collateral development, visits, and communication.
Proactively gather and analyze market conditions, technical trends, VoC insights, and competitive landscape to drive strategy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related scientific discipline.
8+ years of combined lab and commercial sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience growing portfolios in a competitive, dynamic services and screening market.
Experience working in a laboratory setting.
Able to travel for customer visits and conference/presentations.
Flexibility to work with global teams and attend meetings outside typical local business hours.
Strategic and tactical business acumen with experience in driving profitability and growth.
Detail‑oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Compensation The base salary range for this full‑time position is $120,000 – $140,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire. Base pay will also consider internal equity, location, and other factors.
Base pay is only part of the total compensation package, and additional benefits such as bonuses, equity, or other components may apply.
