Position Title
Senior Accountant – Temp to Perm
Location Boston – Onsite
Pay Rate $32-35/hr – $68-75K if converted
Required Systems Sage Intacct
Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation, verification, and posting of complex journal entries, including contract billing, depreciation, prepayments, and end‑of‑month adjustments.
Ensure timely and accurate month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
Conduct high‑level analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and bank statements; prepare monthly financial packages for the Senior Leadership Team.
Manage and optimize AP and AR workflows, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
Lead payroll processing, audits, and compliance using ADP, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Conduct regular audits of AP/AR and payroll processes to mitigate financial risk and ensure adherence to best practices.
Support the Finance Director in developing and monitoring annual budgets, grant funding, and financial forecasts.
Prepare detailed financial reports and variance analyses, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support organizational goals.
Collaborate with Executive and Program Teams to develop financial plans for grant‑funded projects, including cost‑reimbursement contracts, and manage grant reporting and compliance.
Lead the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring accurate, comprehensive documentation for financial audits and regulatory filings.
