Save Job

WeNext Europe is entering a defining stage of growth. We are "always moving forward". To support this momentum, we are looking for more than just a traditional finance manager; we are looking for a strategic partner to build our financial engine room. We act as a bridge between cultures, time zones, and industries. As Head of Finance, you will be the critical link between WeNext Europe and our China HQ, ensuring communication flows with clarity and cultural intelligence while taking full ownership of our financial operations. This is a pivotal opportunity to join the European arm of one of Asia’s leading digital manufacturing platforms. You will not just be running a system; you will be building the foundation from the ground up—establishing compliance, designing policies, and driving the data-informed decision-making that fuels our success. Your Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy, Leadership & The "Engine Room" Build the Foundation: You will design, write, and implement the financial policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that will govern our European operations from scratch. Strategic Ownership: You will take full responsibility for the department, advising leadership on financial performance, risks, and strategic opportunities. Future-Focused Planning: Aligning with our value of "Always moving forward," you will lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support our aggressive growth. 2. Finance Administration & Accountability Driving Financial Clarity: You ensure the Managing Director and leadership team have the right numbers to make smart decisions. This includes managing expense approvals and organizing data for budget tracking. VAT & Tax Ownership: You will personally handle the registration for VAT across our countries of operation (specifically the Netherlands, UK, and Germany) and ensure ongoing, accurate submission and compliance. System Implementation: You will identify and implement the right accounting and ERP systems to improve data integrity and efficiency, replacing ad-hoc processes with scalable solutions. 3. Operational Improvement & The China-Europe Bridge Global Alignment: Fluent in English (with Mandarin as a strong plus), you will act as the primary finance contact for China HQ. You will translate key financial updates, providing the necessary cultural context to avoid misunderstandings between European operations and global finance teams. Proactive Compliance: You will proactively chase up outstanding topics with auditors, tax advisors, and legal partners to ensure we meet all banking and statutory requirements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: You work cross-functionally with Operations and Sales to align financial flows, ensuring our "Smart manufacturing" is backed by smart finance. Requirements Experience : 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit, ideally within an international organization. Qualifications : Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, RA, or equivalent) with deep understanding of IFRS, VAT, and European accounting standards. Mindset : You embody our value of "Smart manufacturing, human thinking". You are technically precise when needed, but always empathetic and focused on solutions. You don't wait to be asked; you identify operational tasks that need attention and solve inefficiencies before they become problems. Builder Spirit : You are excited by the prospect of setting up financial policies from the ground up. You are hands-on and happy to manage the practical details (like VAT registration) while driving high-level strategy. Tech Stack : Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, and experience implementing financial software/ERP systems. Impact : Be part of a global expansion team, working directly with leadership across Europe and Asia. Growth : This role offers a unique mix of strategic, operational, and financial responsibilities that will accelerate your career development. Culture : Work in a flexible, international environment that values initiative and trust. Vacation : As per company policy (25 days + public holidays) and flexible leave options.
