Senior Project Manager
Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and closing of projects within the electrical construction and industrial sectors. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders while adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation through closure, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
Develop project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting, to ensure successful project execution.
Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives.
Utilize Agile methodologies to promote efficiency and adaptability in project execution and delivery.
Conduct regular project meetings to monitor progress, address issues, and report to stakeholders.
Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, ideally in electrical systems and construction.
PMP Certification or equivalent project management certification is required.
Strong experience in risk management and change management practices.
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with excellent team leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management software.
Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling in a project management context.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and their application in project management.
Strong strategic planning skills with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence.
