MedStar Washington Hospital Center . As a Non Invasive Peripheral Vascular Tech III, you will assist the Manager and Medical Director in coordinating daily activities of the vascular laboratory, including delegating duties and evaluating the performance of junior staff. You will also provide training and orientation for new staff as required and perform the full range of duties of a staff Non-Invasive Peripheral Vascular Laboratory Technician.

Primary Duties
Assist leadership in managing daily activities, training new staff, and evaluating team performance within the vascular lab.
Coordinate and prioritize patient testing schedules, ensuring patient stability for transport and timely response to emergencies.
Perform a wide range of vascular diagnostic tests both in-lab and at various patient care sites, while collecting and managing patient data for clinical and research use.
Calibrate, test, and maintain lab equipment; oversee inventory and supply ordering to ensure smooth lab functionality.
Provide preliminary test results, prepare documentation for patient records, support research efforts, and manage timesheets in the absence of leadership.
Qualifications
Completion of an ARDMS recognized school in vascular technology, with knowledge of symptomatology, the disease process, anatomy and medical terminology (required).
1-2 years of progressively more responsible job-related experience in a non-invasive vascular laboratory performing vascular procedures. Work experience can be substituted for new graduates with at least one year internship experience (required).
Salary This position has a hiring range of USD $34.98 - USD $62.52 /Hr.
