Overview Laboratory Director for a general acute care hospital located in SE Texas. The candidate must have strong director-level experience in a medium-size facility, MT (ASCP), and a Master’s degree (Master’s degree highly preferred). Candidates must have strong experience and proven results as Director of Lab Services. A BS degree is required; Master’s degree is highly preferred.
Requirements
Six (6) years clinical laboratory experience, with two (2) years of management experience
Bachelor's Degree in Sciences required
California Clinical Laboratory Scientist licensure required
Extensive knowledge of principles, procedures and techniques of clinical laboratory analysis, laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
MT (ASCP) certification; Master’s degree highly preferred
Strong team leadership skills and a steady work history
Advanced degree in Science or Business preferred
