My client, a top Private Credit Asset Manager, is looking for an Assistant Controller to join and lead their expanding team. Our client works on a hybrid basis in West Palm, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO, and retirement benefits.
Responsibilities
Manage a large fund with significant equity commitments across multiple jurisdictions.
Coordinate the fund's reporting schedule and ensure timely delivery of financial reports.
Participate in board meetings and provide financial updates.
Oversee the preparation of quarterly and year-end financial statements, capital calls, and distribution notices.
Ensure complex investments are properly accounted for under US GAAP.
Assist with the investment valuation process.
Collaborate with Treasury on liquidity forecasts.
Handle requests from investors and regulatory bodies.
Serve as the main point of contact for auditors and tax accountants.
Qualifications
7+ years in accounting, preferably with private credit or from a top accounting firm.
Solid understanding of private credit products.
Familiarity with Investran level portfolio monitoring software preferred.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
Experience managing teams or overseeing third-party administrators.
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
Experience working in a growing organization.
