VP, Global Markets Documentation – Prime Brokerage and ISDA Negotiation
TD Securities is seeking a VP for its Global Markets Documentation Team. The role provides best‑of‑class service to business partners in TD Bank Financial Group through negotiation and execution of agreements that govern capital markets trading products.

Job Description The Global Markets Documentation Team is a core part of TD Securities. The team delivers seamless client experience while managing the Bank’s risk. The VP role is responsible for preparing and negotiating legal documentation with global counterparties for trading products such as cash prime brokerage and equity derivatives, including Prime Brokerage Agreements, Term Commitment Agreements, ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support Annexes, Master Confirmation Agreements, Regulatory Initial Margin Documents, Account Control Agreements, and Custody Agreements.
Depth & Scope
Lead negotiations of Prime Brokerage Agreements, Term Commitment Agreements, ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, Master Confirmation Agreements, Regulatory IM Documents, Account Control Agreements, and Custody Agreements with hedge funds and registered funds.
Participate in internal calls with senior credit officers, front‑office contacts, clients, and external legal counsel to resolve issues during negotiations.
Liaise and coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Credit, Business, Tax, Legal, Operations and Collateral Management.
Provide timely updates to the Business on negotiation status via weekly calls or the team's internal document tracking system.
Support internal initiatives related to documentation, process automation, and regulatory compliance.
Education & Experience
J.D. required; New York Bar admission preferred.
6–8 years of experience at a law firm or dealer.
Strong North American prime brokerage negotiation experience, including term commitment and custody agreements.
Solid experience negotiating ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, Master Confirmation Agreements, and Account Control Agreements with hedge funds and registered funds.
Experience with full suite of regulatory initial‑margin documentation.
Ability to apply legal and risk‑management principles to drafting.
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong PC skills; multi‑tasking and meeting tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to support global time zones; ability to work under tight deadlines.
