Are you a skilled Controls or Automation Engineer looking to play a pivotal role across concept to completion automation engineering projects with an award-winning, global leader?

In this position you will work closely with engineering, project teams and senior leadership on highly technical, purpose-built automation projects from concept to completion. You will design and program PLC’s and HMI’s, travel to customer facilities (25%) to troubleshoot, debug, install, commission and launch brand new automation lines. You will work with a breadth of automation equipment and technology, as well as robots to meet specific customer requirements.

The Position
Work with senior plant leadership, engineering, customers across a range of cutting‑edge robotic controls and automation projects
Design and program PLC & HMI’s from initial concept
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues and modify existing programs
Assist with training and developing existing team members
Travel to customer facilities to carry out installation and commissioning of purpose‑built, brand new equipment
The Person
Controls or Automation Engineer
Proven experience designing and programming automated equipment
Effective communicator and able to work with multidisciplinary teams
Able to travel to customer facilities (25%) and develop junior team members
