LaSalle Network is partnering with a growing consumer products company hiring for a Maintenance Planner. The Maintenance Planner plays a key role in supporting safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations by planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities. This position partners closely with Maintenance, Production, and external vendors to ensure maintenance work is properly planned, resourced, and executed with minimal impact to production. This is a hands‑on planning role suited for a maintenance professional who understands electrical and mechanical systems, values data accuracy, and can translate maintenance needs into executable work plans within SAP or a similar CMMS.
Maintenance Planner Responsibilities
Develop daily, weekly, and future maintenance schedules in coordination with Maintenance and Production teams
Build and maintain master and annual maintenance schedules to support planned outages and long‑term asset care
Plan Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance work to ensure readiness, proper sequencing, and labor alignment
Support prioritization of emergency and unplanned work to minimize downtime and production impact
Create, update, and maintain work orders, task lists, BOMs, and equipment records in SAP or CMMS
Ensure accuracy of maintenance history, labor hours, failure codes, and completion feedback
Maintain high data integrity to support planning accuracy, reporting, and reliability analysis
Analyze downtime events, repeat failures, and backlog trends to identify improvement opportunities
Partner with Maintenance leadership to address recurring equipment issues and reduce technical stoppages
Track and report maintenance KPIs related to schedule compliance, PM effectiveness, backlog, and downtime
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors, including scope definition, scheduling, and requisition support
Ensure vendor work is properly planned, documented, and captured in the CMMS
Partner with Storeroom personnel to ensure required parts are staged, issued, and linked to work orders
Support maintenance reliability initiatives, including PM optimization and planning standardization
Promote collaboration across Maintenance, Production, and Storeroom teams
Contribute to TPM and continuous improvement efforts as related to Planned Maintenance
Maintenance Planner Requirements
Proven background in maintenance planning or maintenance execution within a manufacturing environment
Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance knowledge
ERP and CMMS experience required (SAP strongly preferred)
Experience working with maintenance schedules, work orders, and asset data
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel for reporting and analysis; PowerPoint for summaries or presentations)
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technicians, supervisors, and vendors
Pay Rate: $35/hour
