What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide development support, strategic planning, and expert consulting for power projects
Conduct project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contracting strategies
Prepare project implementation strategies and plans, including technical due diligence and owner’s engineering reviews
Evaluate and optimize technical, commercial, environmental, and financial aspects of projects
Support conceptual design and engineering design oversight within the project portfolio
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
15 or more years of experience in the energy/power industry
Experience with electric utilities, independent power producers, or energy project development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical information
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in technical due diligence and owner’s engineering design reviews of power projects
Detailed understanding of power station operations and performance reviews
Knowledge of electric utility business processes and operations
Experience in economic, cost analysis, and contract development
