Role The Executive Oncology Sales Specialist (OSS) is a field‑based role reporting to a District Manager. Key responsibilities include:
Fulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential new oncology therapeutics.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of product clinical efficacy, provide clinical support/information, and achieve sales quota.
Conduct business analysis, actively prospect for new business, and develop account strategies.
Develop customer‑specific pre‑ and post‑call plans.
Build customer dedication, identify and cultivate new relationships.
Use resources appropriately while collaborating with JNJ Innovative Medicine team members.
Maintain strong knowledge of specialty products, markets, and reimbursement dynamics.
Attend all required sales meetings; complete training; manage administrative responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Oncology specialty sales experience AND/OR Major Hospital Account Sales Experience.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as necessary.
Minimum of two (2) years direct selling experience in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech with documented success or relevant clinical experience.
Experience in hospital and large account sales, understanding of reimbursement and managed care dynamics.
Strong relationship building skills and ability to identify key decision makers.
Strong achievement motivation to meet and exceed goals.
Residing in the geography or willing to relocate.
Ability to effectively utilize virtual technology and engage customers virtual face‑to‑face.
Preferred Qualifications
Oncology and/or rare disease specialty sales experience and understanding of the oncology market.
Previous product launch experience in a highly competitive environment.
Pay Range $111,000 to $178,250 (anticipated base pay).
Benefits Eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, group legal insurance, consolidated retirement plan (401(k)), and a long‑term incentive program. Time off includes Vacation (120 hours per year), Sick time (40 hours per year), Holiday pay (13 days per year), Work/Personal/Family Time (up to 40 hours per year), Parental Leave (480 hours within one year), Condolence Leave (30 days for an immediate family member, 5 days for an extended family member), Caregiver Leave (10 days), Volunteer Leave (4 days), Military Spouse Time‑Off (80 hours).
