Join Kleinfelder as Director of the Central Division Power Market Project Management Office (PMO). In this senior leadership role you will drive growth and deliver large-scale projects across the Central Division (TX, OK, CO, UT, and adjacent states). You will build relationships with clients, assess market dynamics, and lead the division’s penetration strategy in the power sector.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the National Power Market Manager to oversee the Central Division Power Market.
Achieve sales, net revenue, cost of sales, and profitability objectives set for the division.
Develop annual goals and budgets for power‑market activities and partner with Area Business Development Leaders.
Analyze market drivers and identify high‑growth, high‑profitability business opportunities.
Contribute to business‑planning efforts and manage client outreach and conference participation.
Support major pursuit activities—proposals, proposal reviews, and interviews.
Mentor seller/doers and client account managers to strengthen business‑development skills.
Recruit, coach, and evaluate employees operating within the power sector.
Represent the division at national and local industry organizations and conferences.
Qualifications
Engineering or related advanced degree (S. degree required; Master’s/MBA preferred).
15+ years of consulting engineering experience with 8+ years in a management role.
Professional registration or certification is preferred.
Strong business‑development background with extensive knowledge of the power market.
Proven ability to assess economic drivers, competitive landscapes, and regulatory impacts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Proficiency in customer‑relationship‑management software and project‑management tools.
