Position Overview
LaMar’s Donuts & Coffee is a nationally recognized, premium donut and espresso brand redefining the category through products made fresh daily and hand crafted. Soon completely remodeled with elevated café design, and exceptional hospitality. As we accelerate corporate and franchise growth, we are seeking experienced District Managers to lead multiple locations with a balance of operational discipline, people development, and brand excellence.
Job Summary The District Manager (DM) is responsible for the overall performance of multiple LaMar’s Donuts & Coffee locations within an assigned territory. The role ensures consistent execution of quality of product and brand standards, financial performance, team development, guest experience and cleanliness standards across all stores.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee 3 locations (corporate and/or franchise) within an assigned district
Ensure consistent execution of LaMar’s Core Values and Brand Standards, Quality of Product, Cleanliness and Service standards, recipes, service model, and café presentation
Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews
Act as the primary operational liaison between store leadership and corporate HQ
Recruit, train, coach, and mentor General Managers and Assistant Managers and Shift Managers
Build strong leadership benches and succession plans for management teams in all locations
Drive accountability through performance scorecards and structured coaching
Foster a culture of hospitality, craftsmanship, and ownership
Own district level P&L performance and results
Drive sales growth, labor optimization, COGS control, and EBITDA targets
Monitor and improve KPIs including sales & traffic growth, labor percentage, food & paper cost, guest satisfaction scores, health & safety compliance
Partner with Finance and Operations to execute corrective action plans
Ensure compliance with food safety & sanitation standards, local, state, and federal labor laws, franchise system requirements (where applicable)
Support new store openings, remodels, and market launches
Implement corporate initiatives, systems, and technology upgrades
Serve as operational advisor to franchisees within your assigned district
Support and enforce franchise compliance, performance improvement, and growth readiness
Uphold LaMar’s premium, gourmet, artisan brand positioning and guest promise
Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of multiunit restaurant or café leadership experience
Proven success managing 3 to 15+ locations
Strong P&L ownership and financial acumen
Experience in fast-paced, fastcasual, QSR, coffee, bakery, or fastluxe concepts
Ability to travel extensively within assigned district, area, region, and multistate locations
Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
Experience with and in a franchise environment
Background with coffee, bakery, or scratchmade food concepts
Experience supporting new store openings and rapid growth
Data-driven mindset with comfort using dashboards, KPIs, and POS systems
24 hour/7 Day Operations and open availability and able to work during the busiest days of Saturday and Sundays.
