About the Role As a Transaction Managing Director on CBRE’s Account Management team, you will drive the growth of Advisory and Transaction Services (A&T) by leading a portfolio of accounts and supporting teams through operational excellence, client care initiatives, and the CBRE Way across assigned U.S. geographies, with a strong focus on the financial sector.

This role partners with other transaction management professionals, sales teams, advisory leadership, and other sector leaders to deliver world‑class occupier advisory and transaction services. You will ensure client satisfaction and achieve business objectives through strong relationships and collaborative execution.

What You’ll Do

Lead or support initiatives such as transitions, transformations, team performance reviews, account model restructuring, and process improvements.

Be accountable for both financial and non‑financial results across all assigned accounts.

Understand client business and real‑estate strategies, leveraging enterprise‑wide resources to provide proactive, growth‑focused solutions.

Expand revenue opportunities within existing accounts and increase adoption of consulting and advisory services.

Support transaction management growth through innovative solutions and ensure 100% client renewals.

Elevate performance outcomes and deliver measurable value on all accounts.

Ensure top talent is in place and that teams execute flawlessly against contractual requirements.

Act as an occupier business expert, delivering sector‑specific insights and guidance to clients.

Offer direct leadership to professionals managing assigned accounts and serve as a subject matter expert in transaction management and operational excellence.

Drive strategic planning, performance assessment, and quality assurance for occupier accounts.

Champion new initiatives, secure stakeholder buy‑in, and implement programs aligned with corporate goals.

Embrace change, evolve platforms, and embed best practices across all operations.

Lead and manage account operations for assigned A&T accounts, ensuring alignment with CBRE’s standards and best practices.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 8–12 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, performance measurement, appraisal, and retention strategies.

Demonstrated ability to lead complex, sensitive information exchanges, set clear expectations, and resolve challenges effectively. Skilled in driving performance, achieving targets, and influencing multiple departments. Proven success in managing cross‑functional teams and complex client portfolios.

Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to influence at senior levels.

In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset. Sophisticated math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial‑related figures.
