Position Overview: Our team is currently looking for a Quality Engineer for a client in the Motorsports Industry, Honda Racing Corp.
Responsibilities
Quality Control (QC) of in‑house components: develop inspection protocols, control charts, validate measurement equipment.
New Product Introductions & Corrective Actions: lead cross‑functional teams, troubleshoot manufacturing processes.
Non‑Conformance Management: review in UniPoint, provide feedback, manage tooling calibration and equipment tracking.
Advanced Product Quality Planning: first‑article inspections, process validation, work instructions, correlation studies.
Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement: create reports, plan Six Sigma activities, manage calibration, review drawings.
Requirements
BS in Manufacturing Engineering or Material Science Engineering.
Minimum 5 years in engineering/manufacturing environment.
Vendor management and raw material familiarity.
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
MS Office, Minitab, UniPoint.
Must Haves
Strong problem‑solving and statistical analysis.
Effective communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
Ability to work independently and in teams under pressure.
Ability to develop and present technical documentation.
Working Condition
Santa Clarita, California; on‑site.
Relocation offered.
One‑year contract with possible extension/direct hire.
