Description:
The Patient Care Technician will provide nursing support for The Renaissance, a 45‑bed skilled nursing/rehab facility at Sibley Memorial Hospital. The Clinical Technician (PCT) works as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with advanced training in specific clinical skills/competencies on the health care team.
Responsibilities
Periodically checks patients, takes vital signs, and observes the condition of the patient and patient care equipment or devices.
Provides personal care for patient including hygiene and physical comfort measures.
Performs bedside glucose monitoring, EKG tracing.
Measures and records intake and output.
Inserts and removes Foley catheters.

Minimum Education and Experience
High school graduate or GED.
Current certification as CNA in the District of Columbia.
American Heart Association BLS/CPR required.
Authorization to Work in the United States:

Salary Range:
Minimum 19.49/hour – Maximum 30.22/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
