Patient Care Technician – Med Surg
Location: Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington, DC 20016.
Schedule: Day Shift 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Full time.
Job Responsibilities
Periodically checks patients, takes vital signs, and observes condition of patients and patient care equipment or devices.
Provides personal care for patients including hygiene and physical comfort measures.
Performs bedside glucose monitoring and EKG tracing.
Measures and records intake and output.
Inserts and removes Foley catheters.

Minimum Education & Experience
High school graduate or GED.
Current certification as CNA in the District of Columbia.
American Heart Association BLS/CPR required.

Salary Range Minimum $21.44/hour – Maximum $33.24/hour. Compensation commensurate with equity and experience.
