Senior Electrical Engineer – Design Validation - Onsite
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer – Design Validation to support the testing, validation, and certification of new and existing products. This role focuses on designing and executing test plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and recommending improvements to enhance product performance, reliability, and lifecycle.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving complex engineering challenges, and contributing to products ranging from small components to highly complex systems.
You must be authorized to work in the US without any sponsorship. In Person Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop validation and certification test plans
Execute testing to ensure products meet design and regulatory requirements
Automate test procedures where applicable
Support sustaining engineering efforts
Troubleshoot electrical and system-level issues
Document test results, procedures, and technical findings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, engineering, quality)
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Must have 7+ years of experience in a relevant engineering role
Strong experience with certification of IoT devices (cellular, LoRa, BLE)
Familiarity with regulatory standards (FCC, IC, CE, PTCRB)
Hands‑on experience designing and performing validation tests
Experience with primary and rechargeable lithium battery systems
Proficiency with electrical laboratory equipment
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
Ability to manage schedules and work independently
Effective communication skills and professional diplomacy
Base pay range $135,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
