Responsibilities
Architect AI Systems Lead and influence system architecture design for complex Copilot products and solutions, ensuring they meet demanding security, compliance, and performance requirements for enterprise‑level deployment.
Optimize Performance: Lead proactive and reactive development to resolve performance bottlenecks in high‑throughput services. Use telemetry analysis and experimentation frameworks to inform engineering decisions and optimize runtime performance.
Integrate and Extend: Work with Copilot Studio to develop and deploy advanced custom connectors and plugins that integrate with enterprise systems like Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and custom APIs.
Ensure Operational Excellence: Drive improvements in development quality and team performance through tooling, automation, and knowledge sharing. Establish best practices for testing, performance tuning, and code quality.
Provide Technical Leadership: Guide technical strategy, architectural decisions, and performance optimization across teams. Mentor fellow engineers and influence the broader engineering culture.
Qualifications
Extensive experience with Microsoft 365, Copilot extensibility, Azure AI, Microsoft Graph API, and the Power Platform.
Proven experience designing and operating high‑throughput, cloud‑native distributed systems in a production environment.
Multiple years of experience in software engineering with strong coding skills in languages such as C#, Python, or Go.
Experience integrating machine learning or generative AI capabilities into production systems.
Deep understanding of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a track record of driving cross‑functional projects.
Ability to partner effectively with product management and design teams.
Compensation Base Salary: $118,400.00 – $148,000.00
Bonus: Eligible for a performance‑based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
