Location: San Jose, CA. Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with rotating 3rd Saturday.
Requirement : State phlebotomy license (Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV).
Pay range : $26.35 – $30.66 per hour. Salaries are based on experience, training, and certifications. Eligible candidates may receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities :
Assigned to a territory to cover phlebotomy duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor's office, or as business needs dictate.
Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
Collect specimens per established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
Coach, mentor, and instruct new employees; serve as point of contact for staff on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor.
Travel to additional doctor's office or Patient Service Center sites when needed.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
