We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our Information Technology Group, responsible for designing and operating our IT infrastructure. As the IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will design and implement information systems to support our datacenter, server, and storage operations. This role involves defining next-generation architectures, conducting technology research, analyzing market trends, and ensuring seamless integration of datacenter and server solutions.
Location Daily onsite presence at our San Jose HQ Location in alignment with our Flexible Work policy.
What You’ll Do
Network, storage & server Management
Design, build, and operate high-performance network, storage and server systems.
Analyze and recommend network, storage and server specifications based on lab requirements.
Establish management processes to optimize network, storage and server operations.
Contributing to the establishment of optimal‑performance, cost‑effective infrastructure by leading IT procurement reviews.
Establishing an infrastructure utilization monitoring framework and defining the operational processes.
Conduct technical evaluations and proofs‑of‑concept for network, storage and server products from external vendors.
Datacenter Operations Management & Collaboration
Collaborate closely with datacenter and server room operations personnel to efficiently manage infrastructure.
Provide operational leadership in new datacenter or server room design and upgrade projects.
Oversee monitoring of system and environmental controls to ensure uninterrupted services.
Implement best practices for datacenter management to investigate and resolve performance issues.
Identify and manage assets and overall operational status related to datacenters and networks.
Define and document architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for datacenter solutions.
Cloud & Container Infrastructure Operations
Design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure in public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Responsible for the deployment, management, and optimization of container orchestration systems like Kubernetes and Docker.
Monitor cloud resource utilization and propose cost‑effective operational strategies.
Establish and execute strategies to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of cloud and container environments.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with teams in network, security, and operations to integrate solutions seamlessly within the IT ecosystem.
Participate in company infrastructure projects as a systems specialist and solution provider.
Optimization and Research
Monitor IT resource utilization and develop optimization plans.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in server, storage, datacenter, cloud, and container domains.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) with 5+ years of work experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of work experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in datacenter, server, and storage administration.
Broad expertise in infrastructure systems, including HPE, Cisco, Dell, Lenovo, NetApp, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Container, Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, Virtualization/VMware, server clustering, MS Active Directory, enterprise backup solutions, and networking protocols.
Experience in designing and promoting new datacenter construction projects.
Proficiency in high‑speed networking topologies and testing commonly used in datacenter environments.
Understanding of On‑premise and Cloud hybrid infrastructure architecture.
Advanced problem‑solving skills with the ability to develop and propose solutions for complex challenges.
An avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.

What We Offer Base Pay Range: $134,400—$201,600 USD.
