You know how to keep systems reliable and secure while balancing day-to-day support with long-term strategy. You’ve managed infrastructure, vendors, and cybersecurity, and you understand how critical IT is to smooth clinical and business operations. You enjoy partnering with teams across the company, solving problems, and building technology systems that help practices run efficiently and safely.
What will you be doing?
Building and executing Pearl Street’s IT roadmap with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
Partnering with Operations, Finance, HR, and Clinical teams to understand needs and recommend solutions that support growth.
Leading and developing the IT team, setting clear expectations and ensuring strong service delivery.
Overseeing hardware, networks, servers, cloud systems, and on-site technology across all practices and the support center.
Managing and optimizing core platforms, including practice management systems, phone systems, imaging tools, and digital X‑ray equipment.
Supporting new practice integrations, relocations, and expansions by ensuring proper setup, standardization, and reliable systems.
Maintaining strong cybersecurity practices and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
Managing data protection, backups, disaster recovery, and incident response planning.
Conducting regular security assessments and driving remediation efforts.
Overseeing relationships with IT vendors, MSPs, and software partners, including contract review and negotiation.
Leading major IT projects such as system upgrades, network improvements, and technology rollouts.
Using data and ticketing systems to monitor support trends, address recurring issues, and implement long‑term solutions.
Serving as an escalation point for critical outages or system interruptions.
Driving all IT‑related components of M&A activity, including due diligence, system migrations, hardware standardization, and secure PHI transfer.
What will you bring?
A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related experience that shows you know your field well.
At least seven years of progressive IT experience, with three or more years leading teams or major initiatives.
Experience supporting multi‑location organizations, ideally in healthcare or dental settings.
Strong knowledge of networks, servers, cloud environments, cybersecurity practices, and practice management software.
A track record of managing vendors, driving projects, and supporting end users in a busy, service‑oriented environment.
Clear communication skills and a problem‑solving mindset.
A commitment to providing reliable support and building strong working relationships across the company.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience working in a DSO or similar healthcare multi‑site environment.
Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
Familiarity with VOIP systems, imaging software, remote access tools, or centralized monitoring.
Hands‑on experience supporting M&A integrations, system standardization, or practice onboarding.
