Job Summary
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organizations information technology operations, ensuring systems, networks, and applications run efficiently, securely, and in alignment with business goals. This role leads IT staff, manages infrastructure and vendors, and drives continuous improvement in technology services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, including help desk, systems, and network staff
Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud services
Ensure system security, data integrity, backups, and disaster recovery planning
Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices
Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and technology investments
Evaluate, select, and manage third-party vendors and service providers
Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
Collaborate with business leaders to align IT strategy with organizational objectives
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and security frameworks
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in IT operations or systems administration
3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role
Strong knowledge of networks, servers, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and vendors
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Information Technology or Business Administration
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, Microsoft, AWS)
Experience with NetSuite administration, integrations, or ERP support
Experience with enterprise systems, ERP platforms, or SaaS environments
Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or HIPAA (as applicable)
