We are looking for a proactive business partner to support key strategic areas such as Information Technology, Research & Development, and Finance. The successful candidate will provide financial guidance for funding decisions, project tracking, variance analysis, process improvement, and risk identification.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
Partner with VPs of key departments (R&D, IT, HR, Finance, and others).
Provide financial leadership for funding requirements, quantitative analysis, project management, and tracking of strategic initiatives.
Lead the monthly close process, expense forecasting, and budgeting for relevant departments.
Participate in cross‑functional projects to solve business problems and improve profitability.
Maintain accounting principles and controls, and support SOX and internal audit.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics with 9+ years experience OR Master’s Degree with 7+ years OR Doctoral Degree with 4+ years.
Experience managing large data sets, data mining, mapping, and creating reports.
Initiative to partner with functions to resolve issues and improve systems.
Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to explain financial data to finance and non‑finance audiences.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, OneStream/HFM or other ERP tools, PowerPoint.
It would be a Plus If You Also Possess
MBA and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (active or inactive).
Location: Torrance, CA – this is an on‑site role.
Salary Range: $124,500 – $160,000 annually, with bonus/incentive potential.
