Medical Science Liaison (Parenteral Nutrition) – South Central Region at Fresenius Kabi USA
This role focuses on exchanging scientific and medical information between the company and healthcare professionals, cultivating relationships, and supporting product use across the South Central region (NM, TX, OK, MO, AR, LA, KY, TN). Candidates must reside in one of these states.
Base pay range $150,000 – $165,000 per year
Additional compensation Annual bonus
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with physicians and clinicians to provide scientific exchange and support safe, effective use of company products.
Prepare and update educational materials and presentations related to parenteral nutrition products.
Respond to unsolicited requests for off‑label information in compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Provide medical and scientific support for publications, clinical trials, and Investigator Initiated Trials, collaborating with global medical, clinical, and regulatory teams.
Offer training to internal personnel as required.
Work with Global Vigilance and Global Quality & Compliance on product adverse events and complaints.
Requirements
Advanced degree in a clinical or scientific discipline (e.g., Ph.D., MD, PharmD, advanced practice provider, advanced degree registered dietician) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of parenteral nutrition and U.S. healthcare system.
At least 1 year experience as a Medical Science Liaison preferred.
Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
Strong scientific writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Proficiency with virtual platforms and electronic shared databases.
Knowledge of regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
Requires 40–70% travel, including overnight stays. Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record required.
