Tax Senior/Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Tax Senior/Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance and advisory services, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tax-related processes, and providing strategic tax planning to our clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for individuals and corporations.
Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Supervise and mentor junior staff in their tax preparation and review processes.
Conduct research on various tax issues and provide guidance on tax implications and solutions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations affecting clients' industries.
Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, preferably in a public accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and team members.
