Job Title: User Experience (UX) Researcher

Employment Type: Temporary, Full‑Time; Estimated Duration: 7 months; Hourly Rate: $70‑$90

Required Education

Masters in Sociology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI, or a related field.

Preferred Education

PhD preferred.

Must Have Skills

Ability to handle human subjects qualitative research design, analysis, and reporting.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, adapt flexibly, and meet deadlines.

Confidence with hardware‑based research (willingness to learn quickly and ask questions proactively).

Nice To Have Skills

Experience with AR/VR technologies.

Experience leading research studies throughout all phases of the product development cycle.

Experience with storytelling to get traction with various audiences.

Years Of Experience

7+ years experience in UX research and/or design.

Day‑to‑Day Activities

Collaboratively and independently developing and executing research plans.

Partnering closely with researchers and cross‑functional teams to refine research questions and inform study design.

Recording and analyzing attitudinal and behavioral data in‑lab and remotely.

Running descriptive analyses on small‑scale quantitative data.

Synthesizing internal and external research to provide clear insights.

Writing study reports.

Preparing presentations.

Contributing to product strategy and execution.
