About the Role
Kentro is hiring a qualified AI Strategist in support of our Defense Intelligence client in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will bring experience in technical and business planning to support our customers' efforts in integrating AI technology into their core business processes. The candidate will be responsible for crafting AI-driven business strategies that support our customers' long‑term goals, overseeing the development and deployment of AI solutions, and ensuring these initiatives deliver tangible benefits.
Responsibilities
Work with the government lead to develop and implement comprehensive AI strategies that align with the company's vision and goals
Lead cross‑departmental collaboration to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions
Stay ahead of AI trends and maintain a deep understanding of advancements in the field
Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of AI technologies and adjust strategies as needed
Provide expert guidance and leadership on AI ethics and compliance issues
Location Reston, VA or Washington, D.C. (JBAB)
Salary Range $175,000 - $185,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Requirements
Master's or higher in Computer Science, AI, Business Administration, or related fields
Extensive experience in strategy development, particularly in AI or digital transformation
Proficient in machine learning, statistical analysis, and software development
Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to a non‑technical audience
Strategic thinker with a proven track record of executing successful technology integration projects
Clearance Requirement
Must have active DoD TS/SCI with CI Poly eligibility
Must meet updated ID requirements: https://www.gsa.gov/technology/it-contract-vehicles-and-purchasing-programs/federal-credentialing-services/get-appointment-help/bring-required-documents.
