Job Description
Issue the appropriate documentation for issue resolution including supporting the team where the issue crosses multiple vehicle disciplines.
Support the vehicle integration team through ensuring the vehicle fleet has up-to-date software and hardware and has the ability to collect necessary data from vehicles when required.
Provide mule vehicle support and mule issue resolution support.
Responsible for managing all Connected Services, Vehicle Access, Start, & Security features for their platform, ensuring the voice of the customer is met and on time to all vehicle milestones.
Ensure that vehicle functional objectives are achieved and will recommend actions to the Product team. Conduct reviews of functional systems Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, development test planning with lab engineers, and over the road test trip execution for assigned programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the communications and reporting of issues which include status updates and driving issue resolution.
Responsible for proactive planning and tracking of vehicle validation, active support of the systems under their responsibility, and Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) test and reporting.
Required to interact with members of the exterior styling studio.
Responsible for NVH Functional Objective target development, test plan development, and validation with support from Test Engineers and Performance Specialists.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace) from an ABET accredited University.
Strong hands‑on background, with a passion for vehicle-level testing and able to interface with many groups within the company.
Excellent problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Experience leading and managing Suppliers.
Some travel required to Supplier and Corporate Engine/Transmission/Vehicle Assembly Plants including Canada & Mexico, off‑site testing facilities as well as domestically to support press events.
Green/Black belt in Shainin or DFSS desirable.
Basic knowledge of TeamCenter, NX and VisProfessional viewer.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record; required to drive company vehicles.
High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
