CNC Programmer – Precision Machining Location:
Azusa, CA
Type:
Full-Time
Salary Range:
$62,000 – $104,000 ($30–$50 / hr depending on experience)
About the Opportunity A leading precision manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Programmer to join its Azusa-based operations. This role involves programming CNC jobs both at the machines and through software, setting up and operating CNC and conventional tools, and overseeing machinists in a fast‑paced production environment. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in programming, problem‑solving, and shop management while ensuring top‑level precision and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
Program CNC jobs in G and M code at the machine and via software
Set up, adjust, and operate CNC and conventional machines for precision machining
Oversee and support machinists on CNC and conventional equipment
Organize and maintain the machine shop, tooling, and materials
Conduct periodic and preventive maintenance on all machines
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Inspect parts using micrometers and precision instruments to ensure quality standards
Diagnose and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, making adjustments as needed
Confer with engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing staff to exchange technical information
Assemble, repair, or install machine parts as required
What You Bring
Completion of apprenticeship and / or technical school program preferred
Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a machinist with CNC programming background
Strong knowledge of G and M code programming
Proficiency in machining operations, shop organization, and maintenance practices
Skills in problem‑solving, critical thinking, decision‑making, and time management
Strong mathematics and coordination skills
