They specialize in structural repair/restoration, forensic engineering and building enclosure consulting. Job Description:
They are looking for a Structural Engineer to join their Building Diagnostics Team, which is one of the most profitable teams across the company. You will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a focus on the investigation, evaluation, and rehabilitation of existing structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct structural design, investigation, and repair projects.
Perform and review structural analysis and design calculations.
Prepare and manage the creation of drawings and specifications.
Oversee and mentor CAD technicians.
Manage project budgets and schedules.
Interact with clients and prepare technical reports.
Conduct condition assessments and develop remedial work options and costs.
Implement design tasks in accordance with building code requirements.
Supervise construction administration tasks and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in structural engineering.
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
Professional Engineering License (PE) required.
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP, RISA, RAM, SAFE).
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
