Enterprise Data Architect

Neos Consulting Group is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect for a contract role with a client in Austin, TX. The position is hybrid: 2 days remote with 3 days on site at 701 W. 51st, Austin, Texas 78751. Candidates must currently reside in the Austin, TX area. Responsibilities

Design and build relational databases and data warehouses. Develop strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation. Maintain and cleanse databases by removing obsolete data. Ensure database management systems, data warehouses, and multidimensional databases meet strategic goals. Create and maintain a centralized metadata registry. Apply EIR accessibility standards and assistive technologies to all user interfaces. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals. Lead data architecture and analytics initiatives for the HHSC CDA team. Provide thought leadership on data modeling and analytics best practices. Qualifications

10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing (on‑prem and cloud). 10+ years of experience with business intelligence and big data solutions. Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as FHIR, CCDA, and HL‑7. Proven experience leading and managing advanced analytics projects. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices. Proficiency in SQL and other database technologies. Experience with ETL tools, data integration platforms, and APIs. Experience with EHR integration, real‑time streaming, and Informatica ETL pipelines. Design and model data for cloud‑based architecture solutions using Snowflake. Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to non‑technical audiences. Leadership ability to manage teams and complex projects. Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, including security and deployment best practices. Preferred: 8+ years of hands‑on Python/Java/Scala, hybrid cloud deployments, consulting and facilitation skills, TOGAF or cloud architecture certifications, and Texas state eligibility system experience.
