JOB DESCRIPTION The General Manager position can be offered with no prior pizza experience, but it is preferred. General Manager candidates must complete all evaluations up to Manager in Training before becoming manager of a store location.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES
Responsible for everything that happens during your shift (cost controls, inventory control, cash control, Customer relations).
Set the example, follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time.
Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, perfect image and adherence to standards, great customer service, attendance & punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, profitability.
WAGE RATES AND BENEFITS The General Manager position starts at minimum wage and raises are given upon completion of training evaluations. In Southern Oregon wages range from $14.70 to $18.76 per hour.
Managers make a percentage of sales through a monthly bonus; requirements for bonus have to be met for bonus to be paid in full each month, as outlined in evaluations and training.
Newly hired GM’s will qualify for Medical, Dental and Vision insurance upon their hire date; benefits are available for employees to use after 60 days of employment.
We abide by OR/WA State requirements for sick pay.
TRAINING Orientation and training provided on the job.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Ability to communicate and interact respectfully and effectively with people across cultures, abilities, genders, ethnicities, and races.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
WORK CONDITIONS
Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
Store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F or higher.
Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
Exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust.
Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler.
Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing:
Most tasks performed from a standing position; walking surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum.
Walking:
For short distances and durations.
Sitting:
Paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
Lifting:
Bulk product deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions up to 3' x 1.5' unloaded using a hand truck.
Carrying:
Large cans, 3 pounds 7 ounces; pizza sauce 30 pounds; trays of dough 12 pounds each.
Pushing:
Trays on dollies require up to 7.5 pounds of force.
Climbing:
Occasionally navigate stairs or ladders.
Stooping/Bending:
Forward bending at the waist at pizza assembly station; duration approx 30–45 seconds.
Crouching/Squatting:
Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reaching:
Continuous; up, down, and forward; occasionally above 72" to turn oven controls, change sign, lift objects.
Hand Tasks:
Eye–hand coordination essential; use of forearms and wrists is frequent; manipulate pizza peel, rolling cutter, box assembly.
Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids:
