Executive Director

– Benchmark Senior Living, Cedar Grove, NJ. Join the team as Executive Director of Operations for a new facility opening March 2027. Responsibilities include budget and occupancy management, staff oversight, and customer service leadership.

Responsibilities

Authorize purchases, provide onsite sales support, and conduct monthly family meetings.

Participate in training and development of new employees, implementing initiatives for operational efficiency.

Maintain an ethical, honest approach and exhibit patience, understanding, and empathy toward seniors.

Review bills and statements, analyze revenue projections, and adjust when revenue sources decrease.

Manage the Sales Director, network with referral sources such as hospitals and rehab personnel.

Qualify prospects financially through credit reports, bank statements, etc.

Review occupancy relative to staffing and assist in hiring and recruitment processes.

Handle all resident and family grievances.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; preferred fields: Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management, or Business.

3‑5 years of management or healthcare‑related experience.

Experience in a managerial role responsible for multiple disciplines.

Budgeting and staffing experience.

Proficiency with Windows applications such as Excel and Outlook.

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
